ForeverMoving through the bustling city streets
Staring around at the gray masses claiming to be people
A sound echoes throughout-my heartbeat
Bouncing off walls and streets like a type of Sonar
Stepping through the crowd
I only look forward, searching, craning my neck to see
And there you are
Sitting on the bench, gazing blankly at your surroundings
You notice me standing a few feet away, drinking in the site of you
We smile, as if no one else is watching
Jumping up, you take my hand
“It’s been forever!”
And it really has been. We both have changed.
The day flies by, a symphony of sights
Ice cold Ice cream entrenches on the soft noon heat
A movie, a museum, flash by
We run through alleys, jump fences
As if there is not a care in the world
Emerging into the street, you grab my hand again
The sunlight blinds us, a flash of memories
Time stops and our eyes adjust
As night begins to fall
We’ll say our goodbyes all over again
Holding me close, I beg you to tell me…
I don’t remember exactly how many years have passed since we met. It seems like forever, the days and months a blur. Thousands of minutes have passed in relative silence since the day the new kid asked to sit next to me on the bus.
“I’m Eric! I just moved here. Mind if I sit by you?”

For the past three months, I have barricaded myself inside this office, one of the many belonging to the towering skyscrapers of the city. Occasionally I go out in
I'm Happiest when...So I was doing College applications (Yay me lol) and on of the questions was Where are you happiest and why? So I did that one & this was my answer. Where are you guys happiest?
The definition of happiness can hold many different meanings too many different people. Anything from sitting with their significant other on the tail of a truck watching the sun go down, to something as simple as drinking a hot chocolate at their favorite restaurant. I personally, however, I find myself happiest when I’m sitting alone in my room. I have my laptop out to chat with the friends I have made from all over the world. My sketchbook is by my side and art supplies are scattered over the bed for easy access. A cup of chilled coffee sits on the shelf over a multitude of books. The windows are open to let in sunshine, the family cats curled in its rays of warmth. The voices of my favorite singers serenade me from the speakers. The brightness from the posters pinned on my walls and ceiling bathes the
